As I began to look at this cartoon this morning and hear so many people speak of not receiving from the Lord during services. I got to thinking, do we have our cups turned up ready to receive from the Lord or do we continue to come to services with our cups turned over to were we cannot receive from the Lord!

We will receive from the Lord if we are expecting and anticipating on receiving from the Lord! The scriptures says, "I will enter into HIS gates with thanksgiving and praise." If we go in not expecting we will leave with not getting anything.

The next time that you go into the church, go in with your arms upraised in the praise and thanksgiving and just go in Worshipping the Lord and I guarantee if you do that - you will leave the sanctuary receiving blessings fromt he Lord!

April 15th, 2009, Wednesday

As I sit here and anticipate the services for tonight, I get really excited about what the Lord is going to do! The Lord tells us that if we will come into His house with Praise and Thanksgiving, He will meet us there. Tonight, as I go in to the services, I will go in with only Praise and Worship on my mind and on my heart!
I know that if I do that, He will fill the House with His presence! I pray that all of us, will enter into His house with praise and worship!
God bless you as you worship the Savior of our Souls!

Blessed be the Name of the Lord......
As I awoke this morning, this song was deep in my spirit. I immediately began singing this song because it really says what my heart is feeling and experiencing today!
We are truly blessed of the Lord this morning and we should be singing the shouts and praises of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As I look out and about where I am, you cannot help but to see the Goodness of our Lord! You can't help but see His Majesty and His Splendor! So to be singing, "Blessed be the Name of the Lord" is so appropriate this morning.
So throughout this day, take time to bless the Lord for HE has surely blessed us!

April 1, 2009 Happy Anniversary Beckley Praise Church

This day is typically known as April Fools Day! But today, I come to say that this was not a Fool's Day when we took the Pastorship at the Beckley Praise Church.
We are celebrating 2 years as the Pastor of the Beckley Praise Church!
We will be celebrating by having a Weekend of Services at the Church.
April 3rd and 4th @ 7pm with Reverend Preston Adkins ministering and Susan Ketron singing on Friday Night and Judah's Lion and Saturday Night.
All are welcome to come and celebrate with us!
