Micah 6:7-8
Many Christians want God to GIVE THEM PEACE in the midst of what they want to do, despite what God has told them to do.
Micah 6:7-8 says, Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstboran for my trnasgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of soul? He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what dows the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God?
How hypocritial are believers when they try to play spiritual games with God? You know the routine. You wan to thave His gift of peace, but you choose to disregard what He has already shown you. You even make sacrifices to God to cover over your hypocrisy and disobedience, as if they might bring Him pleasure. The Lord cuts through the game playing and says, "Stop it! Keep your sacrifices toyourself. It's all wrong and you have forced me to turn away. There is one thing I desire: Do what i have shown you to do. Obey what I have said. Submit to Me with all your heart, and then I will give you a peace that surpases all understanding."

Thoughts from Pastor Paul Chapman
We need the anointing that Alisha received to win this Generation. With all the troubles and trials that this generation is facing and dealing with, we need a double portion of Anointing from Almighty God. This generation is dealing with things that you and I never had to deal with; from technology to drugs to dealing with dysfunctional family life's.
We need a DOUBLE PORTION OF ANOINTING upon our lives. The scriptures tells us in Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:1-4 that we will receive power. In 2 Kings 2:1-15, Elisha, did just that, he asked for a double portion to fall upon him. We all know the story, when Elijah was taken up the mantle fell and Elisha picked it up and received the Double Portion that he asked for. Church it is time that we take that power and set our people free. It is time that we take that power and deliver people from these strongholds that people have in their lives.
How do we receive this Double Portion Anointing - just like Elisha did - Ask! Ask, just like Elisha did.

This is the Day!
"This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it."
If we will get up every morning and recite this verse, we will have a totally different outlook on life and a different outlook for our days! When we realize that this is the day....that God has given to me to live and to be happy; this is the day....that God has allowed me to wake up in my right mind; this is the day....that God has saved me and set my feet upon a rock that is steady and steadfast.
Friends, this is the day that the Lord has made..... for you and me! Let's rejoice and be glad in it!

April 24, 2010
It is hard to believe that we are already in the month of April 2010. However, I must say that God has been so good to us thus far and we are looking forward to greater things that the Lord is doing in our lives, in our church and among the Body of Christ in general.
Let me thank you for all that you are doing in the Body of Christ - I want to encourage you to keep your heart and mind focused on the things of God. Keep your mind upon the Prize of our calling and that is Jesus Christ.
God bless and I hope to see you in services soon!

I am truly excited about what the Lord is going to do in this upcoming year! As the scripture tells us, "His promises are for us each and every day". When we realize this truth, we will never be alone, we will never be discouraged, we will never walk this journey alone because all of His promises speaks against lonliness, discouragement and He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Aren't you glad that we have a Savior that is ALIVE and WELL. NOTHING is to hard for our God. Let me encourage you on this day that God has great things instore for you!
This is the day that the Lord hath made and I will rejoice and be GLAD in it.
Blessings for 2010!

Are you Having Problems - Jesus is the Answer
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life."
Some times we go through problems down here on earth and we wonder if we are ever going to get answers or our problems fixed but today, I want you to know the your problems, your troubles and your trials have been answered and it is found in this verse that I typed for you this morning.
You see, God sent His Son to fix the problems of this world. God sent His Son to fix the troubles and trials that you are facing. We just have to reach out and accept the answer, accept the solution. Jesus is the answer to all of our needs, to all of our problems and to all that we face here on earth.
The Bible goes on to say, "....I will never leave you nor forsake you...."
"...I will go to the end of the earth with you..."
No doctor, no lawyer and no friend will do what Jesus will do for you!
Blessings on you today!
God bless - Pastor Paul Chapman
